It's gone. AMW Thanksgiving turmoil war game! Oh, that hurt me. Really? It's really weak. It was so much fun. It was an awesome show.

So excited. We were pumped about this show forever and been talking about going forever. Yep.

SPEAKER_05:

No, I I was pumped for it because I missed last year's not because I wanted to.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

Just I had a job. I hate jobs. I hate them too. That's for a different podcast.

SPEAKER_01:

Rip. Um amazing show. Actual war games, double ring, double cage, um, busted up, tons of matches. The show was like, well, we were there from we were we got there at five, like 5 15. We were there from 5 15. We I think we ended up leaving at like 9 30 or 10. No, no, it was later 10:30. 10:30. Yeah, yeah, yeah. 10 30. Well, we ended up leaving.

SPEAKER_05:

Actually, it was later than that because we stayed around.

SPEAKER_01:

We were there forever.

SPEAKER_02:

And we didn't get home till midnight. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah. Cause I was about to say we we were back at my car at 11 30.

SPEAKER_01:

So we were there early enough to meet um Good Brothers. Uh sweet. Those are Noah, those are your boys. Did you get to meet them?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, it was again. Quite exhilarating. He was, I don't know, very long time waiting just to do a simple, simple hand gesture.

SPEAKER_01:

You think they remember you today?

SPEAKER_03:

Probably not. Make yourself. I hope. Remember that picture though. He might yeah, he might memory just for the from the picture. He's like, remember that look at that freak.

SPEAKER_01:

And what was the picture you sent for him to see?

SPEAKER_03:

Um, it was from back when he was in with Aces and Eights as as I think they just went, he was just known as Doc.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Uh met him down in Dalton, Georgia. He was uh appearing for a local promotion uh RCW, and I just randomly was at the mall that day. Oh look. My aunt saw him, she was like, Is that a wrestler over there? And I was like, is that Luke Gallows? Like 10-year-old me. Oh, like eight or nine-year-old me, actually. And then yeah. That's awesome. Ten plus years later, I bring the bring him back that same picture.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, we um we we got bought our VIP tickets from uh Zachy Z Collins. Shout out. Um we bought our VIP tickets from him and he had a good match, was it? Pre-show. Pre-show match. Pre-show match.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean, opened the whole show, really. Yeah, yeah, open.

SPEAKER_01:

Then he set up a cage. It was him and um uh what's that guy's name? It's like the beast. Uh I can't remember that dude's name. Gaines or something. Gaines, yeah. Gaines is his last name. Yeah. It was a good match, dude. It was a good match.

SPEAKER_05:

You know, I I love Z. And it's like Because he sells so good. He sells, bro. He sells all day. So good. And crowd eats him up too. He's good. Oh, yeah. Crowd loves him. He he's he's the the second most overheel behind the Kazanas.

SPEAKER_01:

He took some bugs. He took some bugs. He always does. Yeah. Every bump he took, I was like, oh man, personally knowing somebody that's taking the bumps.

SPEAKER_03:

He is a team player, honestly.

SPEAKER_05:

I think he for I mean, he's young, uh, he's great, and I think he gives it 100%. Like he does whatever they say.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, he's definitely paying his dues. He's got to do the grunt work, right? We see him putting up the cage, like bringing people's stuff out, taking care of everything. Yeah, yeah, you you gotta get there. You gotta pay your dues. We'll talk to Clark about that.

SPEAKER_05:

He knows that. But the thing is, most of the time he's always on that poster.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, yeah, dude. He's always the time.

Listen, um, we're gonna review this indie show. This is gonna start a series for us of of reviewing indie shows. This is the last one really big this year because I don't know that we're gonna get much time to record a lot of episodes in in November and December here. We got a show coming up that we're we're trying to get to that's KCW. It's December 13th. The problem is they booked it the same day as Cena's last match. I have talked to the GM of that show personally and told him that was bad booking and they should change that. But obviously they can't do anything about it because they planned the show like two days before Cena announced that was his last show. Oh. But yeah, but it's whatever we're thinking about going anyway and just not using the internet the whole time we're there. There's no service. There's no service anyway, but we kind of want to be at the show um so we can review the show on the podcast. We can make a whole day out of it.

SPEAKER_03:

Who just wants to miss wrestling anyways, you know?

So it's it's funny that you bring that up because I was listening to uh CVV on the way over here.

There's actually 17 unseen shirts that are never going to get shown because it was events that got canceled or you know, moved. Those are the never seen 17. Those are the never seen 17. No one's ever going to be able to see them. They're never releasing them. And it's 17 venues. I bet they release them. 17 states or venues. I was like, that's funny. And he literally said, these are going, these are truly the unseen 17.

Alright. Anyways, let's let's talk about the indie shows. We're going to start doing a whole series here where we're going to we're going to watch the indie shows. We're going to review the indie shows, aren't we, Clay? We're going to critique the indie shows. And listen, we're going to be unbiased and we're going to be honest. Because there's too many people that are just like, wow, it was awesome. It's the best show ever. And then like go home and just trash the shit. Right? So, pardon, sorry for cussing. Um, really, really wanna. The scene rocks right now, right? Don't worry about that. Don't worry about that video Wes just played. The scene rocks right now, right? Because we were talking about last night that AMW looks so good right now because competition is there too. Like KCW looks good. Uh AMW looks good. TSW sold out in Corbin last night. Yeah. They sold out in Corbin last night. There was a ton of wrestling shows. Right. It's awesome. Pro wrestling is back. We're here for it. It's awesome. Indie wrestling is so good right now that we're going to be here for all the indie wrestling. There's some dudes sitting behind us at the show. Shout out these dudes sitting behind us at GCW shirts, OVW shirts. It was like, seemed like we get along good with those guys. We should just hung out with them the whole time. But yeah. The show last night, opening match was Z versus uh Z versus Gaines. Gaines uh took the wins. Z put him over. Pretty sick finish to the move. Pretty sick finish.

SPEAKER_05:

Let's cut that. Cut what? What are you talking about? Sick finish. It was a roll-up. It was a roll-up.

SPEAKER_01:

Well, no, the part before the roll-up was Z ripping his pants off. Oh yeah. I think that was I th I like the finish. The roll-up made sense.

SPEAKER_04:

No, no, no. No. Never mind. I was going to get in food.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, I don't know what you're talking about. Yeah, you missed the part. So you missed the part where he um the real finish was like he ripped his pants off, and that's what that's what got him caught. Oh, okay. Was he when he ripped his pants off? That's what got him hit.

SPEAKER_05:

Correction. I was like, what? There was a six-year-old that was going, I want popcorn.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So but that match was pretty quick. It was it was it was a good time. What was that second match? There was one more pre-show.

SPEAKER_02:

It was a very underrated wrestler.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh yeah, uh the kid in uh The Red. The red the really good time. Chase. Uh no, no, no, not Chase. Something Madison. Madison, yeah. Something Madison. Was it Chase Madison? I I actually think it's Chase Madison. I know, I know Chase Emery, but I swear I think it was like It was something like that. Yeah.

Madison, yeah. Madison. Right? Wasn't that his name? It was something Madison. Okay, either way. Uh shout out this dude. He was he was really good. Like, actually gave him trash because he had a black eye. Uh but then he wrestled RT3. He wrestled RT three. Now this match had, I actually think this match had the best finish of the night, right? Something you don't actually see in indie wrestling very much.

SPEAKER_05:

I thought Adrian Alexander.

SPEAKER_01:

He was supposed to.

SPEAKER_05:

Oh, and they switched it. Okay. Yeah. Yeah, okay.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah. Because Adrian Alexander was in war games.

SPEAKER_05:

In war games, you're right.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah.

So Wow, is that me? Whoa. Dear God. Wow. I don't usually make that mistake. No, you don't. Oh, my bad. You guys can just sorry. It was rough. Okay. Um, the finish on that match. The finish on that match was a spear from the air. A spear from the air. Yeah. Because he was caught in the air. Yeah, yeah, yeah. The the other dude was jumping off the top rope, and uh what's his name? RT3. RT3. I can never remember. I always want to say RG3. RT3's move is a spear, and he caught him with a spear off the top rope, and it was awesome.

SPEAKER_05:

It looked like he killed it. Oh, yeah, it was solid. Paul thing is for our Virginia listeners, he's he's a local boy from Wise. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah.

So that's cool.

Everybody pretty a lot of us wrestlers were local last night. Um that was the pre-show matches. It was actually the it was a pay-per-view last night, and those were the pre-show matches for the pay-per-view.

SPEAKER_05:

As AJ said, a little bit of a darky.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. And we um we had a good time last night hanging out with some uh hanging out with some people that uh some new champions last night. Got a, you know, got at least one. We got uh Chase Emory. We got Chase Emery winning that um Kentucky, it's the Kentucky championship, right? Southeastern. Southeastern. The Southeastern, yeah, the Southeastern champion beat uh in a triple threat. He beat Timu Sheamus. Lord Murphy Costigan. Lord Murphy Costigan, actually pretty good rest there. Wonder Woman. Yeah, he was dressed as Wonder Woman through Halloween steel. And Zodiac, the mad tailor. The mad Taylor Zodiac. Uh I learned something. Fun fact, he's actually a Taylor, I reckon.

SPEAKER_05:

Um yeah, I actually he did a couple of the guys.

SPEAKER_01:

Taylor is somebody who like um fits you for uh clothes. Oh fit fits you for tuxes and stuff whenever they're taking measurements of your tuxes.

SPEAKER_05:

In this case, though, he actually does some of their uh their ring attire.

SPEAKER_03:

Nice.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah. I heard the guys behind us talking about that. He uh some of the other wrestlers that were coming out saying, yeah, Zodiac did his.

SPEAKER_01:

That's so cool though. I think it's awesome, actually. Um but yeah, that match that match was good. Had a great time watching that match.

SPEAKER_02:

There was another one, wasn't there?

Champion. I feel like there was.

SPEAKER_01:

Uh let me let me check. Let me let me let me think. Who the who the other No. Maybe there wasn't. No, no, you're thinking it's because we thought the women's match. There's a women's championship map, we thought she was gonna drop it to uh Judy Lee Taylor. Uh uh Bo James' new wife. Sweet Judy Taylor. Judy Taylor, congratulations. Oh, sweet Judy Lee. Sweet Judy Lee. Uh sweet Judy Lee. I was actually gonna applause, but the the uh the the woo-works too. Oh yeah for the congratulations. Worker shoot. First worker shoot of the night. Yeah, first worker shoot of the night, worker shoot, Bo James, and uh that girl being married. Uh seems like at right now, seems like a shoot.

It seems super married because on their way back, uh, she got her ass whooped, and I said, uh sorry you lost, but congratulations to both of you. And she said, Ha ha ha ha ha, thank you, and he said, Thank you. Best wrestler alive, Bo James. Bo James. Um laugh at that. I was dead serious. Okay, let's let's think about what other match was last night, right? Before because the show was like four hours. We had the Hall of Fame induction as well. Um so we want to shout out the Hall of Fame induction because it's it was no Jerry uh uh Joe Katana.

What are you talking about? The the Hall of Fame? Joe Kazanna got the um Yeah, yeah.

Joe Joe Kazanna was in the that's what I'm saying. The Joe Kazanna, the Hall of Fame. Yeah. It was um there was a bunch of wrestlers that in that got inducted into the Hall of Fame. But I'm talking about the oh yeah, the retirement match with John Noble's last retirement match.

SPEAKER_05:

With Chris Michaels.

SPEAKER_01:

Or his last match with Chris Michaels. Chris Michaels, who has wrestled side by side with John Noble at AMW for a few years, turned on him a few weeks ago. Yep. And his final match.

SPEAKER_02:

He dressed up as the Black Scorpion and at Bluegrass Brawl, he finally took his mask off after like two weeks and revealed that it was Chris.

SPEAKER_01:

Pretty cool. Pretty cool. Pretty awesome, pretty awesome turn. But then uh they had an awesome match. Michaels and Noble had an all-time legendary match. And then some random dudes came out and some dudes that we um just honestly, all due respect, you know, with all due respect, we didn't know them. Okay, we didn't know the guys. It's not our fault that we didn't know them, even though, you know, we should have probably known them because they were some teenage tag guys. And they was in the Hall of Fame. And they were in the Hall of Fame.

SPEAKER_03:

Because to I to my to my understanding, I just assumed it was enemies and allies of John's past.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, that's what I thought.

SPEAKER_03:

Which I do know that one.

SPEAKER_01:

Uh it was pretty much that, too. That's pretty much what it was.

SPEAKER_03:

One was Andy Douglas. Yeah, Andy Douglas. Yeah. Yeah. And then that one one of the guys coming out to beat up John. Can't not remember his name, but I do remember him being inducted in the Hall of Fame of AMW last year. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh man, and Lemon Juice McGee was there. Uh is that really his name? So it's funny that I know who that is, and you guys don't, because I think I went to more AMW shows than you all did, and I followed him. He was a manager at AMW. He left for a little while because he opened a comic book store.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

He looks like a comic book guy. Right. But he's he's a really good manager. He does some really cool stuff.

SPEAKER_05:

Um speaking of the Hall of Fame, I I'd like to chat out Joe Casanna just because he was the only one that actually came out and 100% stayed in character.

SPEAKER_01:

God, he's awesome. Oh, yeah. He's he's so uh he's so funny in character all the time.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, like very nice guy all the way around, uh if you get to know him. But yeah, his he's unbeatable when he stays in character. I see where AJ gets it from. Oh yeah, 100%.

SPEAKER_01:

Listen, and I really think my match of the night, just because I like these two wrestlers a lot, was um um Katina and and Evil Nate. Yeah, yeah, that was great.

SPEAKER_05:

Katina, he's got everything.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, Katina is so this wrestler for people who haven't watched AMW, this wrestler is kind of a mix of um what's the guy? BJ Ray. BJ Ray and Logan Paul and Will Osprey. Will Osprey because he moves like Will Osprey. Yeah, he's pretty much a babyface Logan Paul. Yeah, yeah. That's pretty fair. Yeah, that's fair. But he can fly, man. He's like, he's like, what is he, probably 6'4 West? Yeah, he's a big old dude. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

I would more compare him to uh Will Osprey. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

He moves, he moves like his gimmick smells like Osprey.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

You know, you don't know his pants are like really extravagant. Oh, what what was this? What were the tights? It said um um oh man, I I wish I could remember what his what his tights said. It was a mouthful, but it went hard. His tights, his tights rocked though.

SPEAKER_02:

Um It was like a comic book thing.

Yeah, no, his his tights were really, really good.

But even even Nate's Nate's gear was was on point.

Oh, Nate's gear's always I just want to very disappointed. Why are you disappointed?

So he's only done um four shows. I I want to say also AMW superstars all over the ring. Oh KCW's superstars over the ring. TSW's got good wrestlers, but like AMW's got guys everywhere. And we Marty, Marty's gonna be on shows. Like Marty's gonna make it. Like he's gonna he's gonna be on stuff in the sh in the future, I'm sure. And whenever he is, even if it's just security guard spots that he might get in the future, it'd be like, doesn't matter. You're gonna get noticed. People notice if you get invited to shows and you get noticed, that's you know, everybody's just trying to get over, bro. Everybody's just trying to get over. They were hilarious because they were like, we were talking to him before the show, and he said uh um was talking about the just all the guys that are gonna get over before them. It was just like these guys are just gonna he's like, they'll get over before any of us do anyway. He was talking about Sting's son, and he was like, he's gonna get over before we do. Steiner's kid. Hogan's kid. He was like, he's gonna get over before we do. He's like, we really just need to get a faction with Hogan's kid. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05:

No, what he'll put him over. He said, I'm gonna do a fake lineage bloodline. Uh he said, I'm smolling.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, Wes um uh not Anderson, right? What's his name? Uh Barker. Wes Barker, yeah, the prospector. Okay, just so everybody knows. When you say the prospector, I think about the Toy Story character. Yeah, so I can't. Okay, that's that's just what's in my head all the time. He rocks. I love watching him wrestle. Him and Marty are awesome together. Oh, hell of a guy, too. Yeah, he's he's so fun to hang out with. Um, our tag team match that we love so much. Really, why we went to the show. Let's be real. Yes, why we went to the show. As soon as we walked in, put the horns bullhorns up. Put the horns up, baby. You two sweet. I forget that Noah, Noah's got one of each because he can't help it.

SPEAKER_05:

I can't, man. It's I mean, as soon as we walked in, they pointed. They're like, What are y'all doing here? You know, they they knew us.

SPEAKER_01:

Um shout out, AJ. Um, I think AJ and KC. Yeah. Yeah. Put respect on KC. They might have actually they might actually hear us speak sometimes. Um just just from clips.

SPEAKER_05:

Yeah, I mean, they're they're great guys. They're hilarious.

SPEAKER_01:

No, they're not. They're actually terrible dudes. They're awful, crooked, dirty. Pieces. He didn't let me finish.

Hey, I do want to say though, we'd be cheering for them. All right. They're good, they're kind of like Dom. Because they're they're so good.

They're so good. Um We the only ones in the stands that had the Kazanna shirts on. I stole his hat. You didn't steal it, you saved it. Some little girl stole his hat. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01:

And he was so worried about it. I seen him in the match where he was. Looking for it.

SPEAKER_05:

He was looking for it. Every time he got thrown uh near the near where it fell, he he would like glance over, look, see where it was at.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah. Yeah. He's that's so funny that he was um KC was getting beat up in the corner and and uh and Kazanna's hat was just gone. Yeah. Little girl took it.

SPEAKER_05:

Shout out though to Clay for saving the hat. Holding it while uh what's his face came and grabbed it real quick.

We can dictate how the crowd reacts because there's so many of us. And indie shows like if we have if we're all together, nobody brings ten people to an indie show and we just buy out the whole front row and then we'll like do do whatever we want with with the whole time and starting all the chants. We should have turned the Kazanas baby. Yeah. It would have been so easy to do.

Oh, it's so fun. And it funny thing was too was um Little Wes went to the bathroom with his friend, uh Rhino's kid. And we uh I think Clay gave him directions was like you go down the you go through that door, turn right and turn right again, and you'll see the bathrooms. Instead of going to the bathroom, they went to the locker room and used the bathroom, and while they were in there, they looked up and there was the good brothers. And they were then they realized I was like, we're in the right bathroom, but they they bumped into the Good Brothers.

It's so cool to to that that just to happen. It's so cool. Um we have been to an indie show since we have recorded, but in the middle of us recording in this episode, we recorded an episode with uh Gen Z, which is one of our buddies that wrestles, like Clay has got close with that he was on for an interview, and unfortunately there was um there was a system issue, again, technical issue, technicality, technical issue.

Also, yesterday. Um so that's that's so indie show. Let's let's do final let's do final thoughts on the indie show. Okay, do our final shot thoughts. I thought the show rocked. I thought it was awesome. I think the only things that could have made it better, the the John Noble video, like man, all right. I know I get it, everything was there, but we we we didn't have anything to do while that was going on. Like we were watching it, but it's that was hard to do. Right. Don't you think, Noah, that was a little long? It ran a little long.

I think it was a combo of the two things, right? That included with I think it was good that they timed the Hall of Fame while they're putting up the cage, so at least they're wasting some time doing that.

You know, you know what I mean? Like the some of the wrestlers like these guys are not that legendary. Uh the Young Bucks were pretty legendary, but they weren't like they weren't Curdy Rhodes.

The thing about FTR is what happens is they get the snot beat out of them, start bleeding, and then they start heavy breathing into the camera, and it sounds so stupid because they start going like that, looking at the camera like they're dying.

SPEAKER_01:

We hate on FTR real bad. We really give them a hard time. It's because the it's because the the gents should have those titles.

SPEAKER_04:

Yeah. They would be a better tag team. The Kazannah boys would be a better tag team than those boys.

There was some crazy stuff. Darby died. The the funniest thing I saw with that match was when because he he did get burnt in that last uh table spot, the last uh episode he was in, or whatever. Uh it was blood and guts, maybe. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We were gonna go to that. They set two tables on fire and put them through him, and he actually got stuck in the tables. Um was trying to roll out of him. But he had his arm bandaged because he actually had burns all over his arm. And they ripped the bandages off his arm and started giving him an Indian burn on his arm.

SPEAKER_01:

On the on the orange burn. I was like, is they Indian burn in him? I'm not even like I'm not super impressed, but at least wrap a belt around it and do something. I don't know. That's a crazy spot, I think, to do. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. That being said, WWE takes luchador's mask off every three days.

SPEAKER_05:

Oh my god, I can't. And he wasn't even a luchador this time.

SPEAKER_01:

He's from Spain. I think he's still considered himself luchador.
